Wizard Academies

It is a series built as an anthology, edited by Alan Andersen, of stories about the schools for the Wizards of Tomorrow, by authors like Stephen Philip Jones, Christine Norris, Caroline Marino, Kristie Poehler, Thoomas Jordon, Ras, Celina Cook, Chris Malloy and Alan Andersen himself.

The first two books of this series are: A Gathering of Enchantment and The Heart of Darkness. The schools go from a school for gifted wizardlings that died and must find out who killed them to go back - the Reverberaunts - to one that has a Sea Captain as a headmaster (Potent Conch), and can have from only two students to lots of them. But all of them have to face the mystery of the Heart of Darkness, that the evil faery Delisandre Le Fay keeps seeking and can give her the power over all other faery.
