The Lure of the Basilisk

Garth desired his name to be never forgotten. Adviced by an oracle, he went on the quest set for him by Forgotten King in Skelleth. His task was to capture first living creature he'd find in crypts under Mormoreth. In the beginning of the journey, Garth didn't know, that the creature would be a basilisk, a monster almost impossible to kill, not even to capture alive.

Readers' comments

The action gets its pace pleasantly quickly, and I find it interesting, however quite predictable. The book is a good introduction to 'Lords of Dus' series, I wish it weren't so short, but there are great sequels!

In my opinion, the most beautiful fantasy book ever written. Fantasy books, for me, are the stories of dreams, and I dream about living in such an unusual world as Ethshar and being such a lucky guy...
