Pullman's Fantasy Trilogy is a winner of many rewards, including Whitbread Reward (given for "The Amber Spyglass", which became The Book of the Year 2001 in UK). Three parts of the series, published in 1995-2000, efficiently compete with adventures of Harry Potter. New Line Cinema is preparing the movie, and English National Theatre made a play based on it.
