Eragon is a book written by young Christopher Paolini. It's a book full of adventures of great friends, a dragon and a boy, who go together in their quest despite the obstacles and dangers waiting for them.

The story begins in a small village, near which the boy finds a dragon egg. Since this moment the adventure with magic, charms and with the dragon begins. Then, Eragon with his friend Brom goes in the journey of his life. He'll face many dangerous adventures, many times he'll have to choose between good and evil, and though the path of evil is easier, Eragon will not give up and will face it. But evil king Galbatorix has many malice plans and intrigues...

The book is superb, I've already written the description and I've got nothing to add or to take from it. I recommend it especially that it is written by 15 years old boy, and it's noticeable while reading, this lightness in writing. One of best fantasy books. Don't lose your time but go and read it. If there were 6 I would give it, but apparently 5 has to be enough.

Eragon is a book that I recommend to everybody, its a connection of 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'Harry Potter', it has everything what's best in both these books!! It's hard to believe it has been written by 15 years old boy!!! The book has really interested me, there's so many adventures in it!!!. I recommend this book to those who like to be lost to the beautiful world of fantasy at least for a while!!

The book is superb!!! Impossible to stop reading and hard to go back to the real world. Just to wait for next parts...

I got addicted to this book, now I'm feeling empty :D. I've read it in one flow. It's based on a similar scheme as LOTR, but it still can't be compared with this classics. A fascinating reading.

Liked it! It took me awhile to read. Love the characters and story line though.

This book is cool... as every girl I prefere books dominated with love thread, but this book is better than anything, I could read it infinitely... ;) But I'm angry that still noone knows anything about third part of the trilogy... Paolini, come on!

The book is interesting, but it doesn't deserve more than 1 in 1-5 scale. Too many borrowings from other fantasy books, definitely poor descriptios, the ending of the story incomprehensible...

It's one of the best fantasy books I ever read, but it's not as good as Eldest, as Harry Potter is not as good as Inheritance series.

Eragon is perhaps the best book I ever read!! It's even better than 'Harry Potter'. It's hard to believe it has been written by so young boy! I recommend the book to everyone, I think even those who don't enjoy reading will like it.

Eragon is really an excellent book. It's very light and pleasant to read, its story is interesting. Though when you read it you can see much influence from Tolkien, Rowling, Le Guin and even King. But as for 15 years old, the boy got great imagination and interesting ideas. I mark five.

Eragon is quite good, though in my opinion there's too much of Tolkien in it, whom I prefer in the original
