Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
based on 2 reviews
The second year in Hogwarts begins for Harry Potter with warnings from a house elf, Dobby, who visits him on Privet Drive and causes first minor trouble - he annoys the Dursleys.
After short, pleasant time spent in the Burrow, Weasleys' house, Harry and Ron are missing the train to Hogwart, and fly there by car; annoyed Snape suggests expelling them on their first day at school.
But all of these is nothing in compare to the fun that follows...
The book undoubtly interesting, inviting deeper into Harry's world. Especially interesting are these details, which are missing in the movie. However I don't especially like a bit darker atmosphere, I miss this optimism and successfullness that convinced me to Harry Potter in the first book.
"Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" is a book, that mildly fit my taste. In the first book, everything was so so full of joy, colours, and in the second - bang! and so many gloomy things happen. I think the change is too big, from one extremity to the other. Despite of these, maybe I'll return to this book eventually.
